“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7
I watched a video the other day, and you can watch it too at:
It was hilarious and sad! The volume of ignorance in our American society has hit the level of absurdly ridiculous. I watched grown people, basically, proclaiming that extinct creatures like Triceratops, Tridactyl, Wooly Mammoth and Sabretooth Tigers still existed. They proclaimed that imaginary hunting expeditions were real and took place. They proclaimed their indignation at the killing of these extinct animals that have been extinct for many centuries (if you’re an evolutionist, many millions of years). They proudly proclaimed their “politically correct” thoughts on the unwarranted privileges of the political elite.
“O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.” Proverbs 8:5
My point is, all of these animals are extinct, yet the people interviewed didn’t know that. They didn’t research to see if the story was true. They present a spirit of activism that is misguided or devoid of wisdom.
What are they teaching in schools today? Political activism? Humanism? Social activism? Because, I see little evidence of science, history or common sense in the video listed above.
Don’t get me wrong. I know that there are kids, young adults and adults that were taught by their parents and self-studied, and they have both common sense and intelligence. I’m only speaking about those that derive all of their “knowledge” [laughing] from liberal schools and pseudo-teachers, preaching humanism and fostering the dumbing down of America.
There are also good teachers that are forced to present bold-faced lies, and often stupid curricula to their students, against their will and better judgement. We have a system problem, that has past the point of no return, in my opinion. It would take at least 1 or 2 generations to reeducate our society, if we chose to do so.
The key to all wisdom and knowledge starts with God’s Word and its study, through self-study, group study, sermons and curricula within our schools. Then reintroduce the education system of the early 1900’s, enhanced by computer science, and we could be back on track by about 2060 or 2080, if the Lord tarries (delays returning).
I believe the US education system has failed beyond the point of no return, because I believe the promised return of Jesus, to rapture His church, is months or just a few years away. We simply don’t have time to make the necessary changes. But, just in case I’m wrong about the timing of the rapture, a good start would be to reintroduce the Bible as required literature.
Lord, I pray for all those on the video. I pray that they seek knowledge, and especially the knowledge of You and Your Holy Word. I pray that Your will be done in their lives and that You keep them safe. Open their hearts and minds, Lord. In Jesus name, Amen!
