Islamic Carnage in Nigeria

“Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13. As you study the Bible you come to realize that when God says “Thou shalt not kill.” God is specifically talking about murder with, malicious intent and premeditation. Killing someone because you’re a soldier or sailor and you are ordered too, is not murder. Killing someone accidentally is not murder. It really comes down to your intent. What are your motivations? I believe that the Islamic people who are slaughtering the Christians in Nigeria and many other locations on the globe have malicious intent and harbor prejudice in their premeditated killing of Christians. The Islamic Carnage in Nigeria must stop!

My Take on Islam’s Excuses

I believe that they truly think they are doing the will of their Islamic god, Allah. They think that killing Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Shinto, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christians, and every other religion is their required course of action according to the Quran. Therefore, they think they are doing the right thing according to Islamic Law. Even though killing people for their religious beliefs has been frowned upon from the beginning of time. They feel they are in a holy war to convert everyone to Islam. They are willing to accomplish this via teaching Islam, indoctrination, propaganda, threats, and by force. The force includes rape, torture, and other types of physical violence. But they think they are doing god’s work. They think the world will actually be better after all the carnage. I disagree!

Islamic Carnage in Nigerian

The headline reads, “Nigerian Muslim Militants Kill 120 Christians in Three Weeks.” Due to the recent killings, the death toll of Christians in Nigeria has reached 120 with this week’s slaughter of more than 50. Fulani Muslim militants in the Kaduna state of Nigeria perpetrated these atrocities according to Williams who referenced a Christian Post article. Last Monday, 11 March 2019, these militants destroying 143 homes, killing 52 people, and wounding dozens more. The day before this 17 were killed and a few days before that 32 were killed. In late February 40 Christians were killed by these militant Christian haters. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Months of Carnage Against Nigerian Christians

The next headline reads, “'Pure Genocide': Over 6,000 Nigerian Christians Slaughtered, Mostly Women and Children.” Church leaders in Nigeria have said that Christians have been murdered by Fulani radicals since January of 2018 according to Zaimov. There is no sign of this carnage stopping either. One of the most disturbing things is that the mainstream media is almost completely silent on the matter. It’s almost as if they don’t care, they have more important things to report. The persecution of Christians can be overt, like the murder of over 6,000 Christians in Nigeria. Or, the persecution can be indirect, like just not reporting the carnage. Either way, it’s persecution.

The Islamic Carnage in Nigeria is Not Alone

The Center for Studies on New Religions has determined that over 90,000 Christians were killed in 2018 alone, just because of their faith. They also determined that since 2016, over 600 million Christians were prevented from exercising their faith. We all know that as Christians, we can practice our faith anywhere at any time. But they are actually talking about the overt practice of our religion. Like, attend church, sharing our faith, discussing Jesus in public and other practices. 600 million of us were prevented from openly being Christians. And still, the mainstream media is virtually silent.

Christian Persecution and Oppressors Worst Offenders

The persecution runs deep. Below is a list of the worst offenders. The countries that oppress Christians and actively persecute them. Notice that Nigeria is not even on this top-10 list.

The 10 worst nations for Christians are:

North Korea

Afghanistan

Somalia

Sudan

Pakistan

Eritrea

Libya

Iraq

Yemen

Iran

Below you’ll see a map posted by Earls from his article in Facts and Trends. It is a color-coded map of persecution against Christians. The Orange is the worst offenders and then the lighter orange a little less persecution and the yellow is even less persecution. But please realize that persecution is happening globally across virtually every nation including the United States.

No, not at all. Jesus predicted it over 2,000 years ago and it’s coming true, just like all the other prophecies in the Bible. With 100% accuracy.

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12

“But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.” Luke 21:12

“Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you…” John 15:20

We Should Not Be Surprised but We Should Be Offended

Jesus Himself said that we would be persecuted for our faith. So, while all this Islamic carnage in Nigeria and throughout the world is expected it should not be accepted. Persecution is an atrocity that should be vilified, even if we as Christians expect it. It is written in our Holy Bible. Proclaimed by our God and Lord, Jesus the Christ. We hate the carnage but also understand that all true Christians will enter into Heaven. Anyone that lays down their life for the sake of the Gospel is or will be in Heaven. Never the less the Islamic carnage in Nigeria and throughout the World should be vilified and rejected as evil in the site of both God and Mankind.

Pray for the persecuted, both in Nigeria and worldwide.
